Frequently Asked Questions

DRINK

The Kontiki has 2 large marine ice chests.  You are welcome to bring your own as well.  Depending on the quantity and type of beverage, 1-3 twenty pound bags of ice are suggested. Glass bottles are "prohibited" on board for safety reasons. The Kontiki has a generator if you would like to bring a blender or margarita machine. There is a bar to set up on as well as two 6 foot tables.  If you or anyone in your party is under the age of 21, the use of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Upon observation of underage drinking, the captain will return the boat to Walsh Landing, ending the cruise. We would suggest bringing plenty of bottled water. It is very easy to get dehydrated while out on the water.

You are welcome to bring food on boat. However we are not allowed to use a bbq grill. Most people bring sandwiches or pre-made trays of food.
